The Northwest Metro Chapter of the Georgia State Retirees Association (GSRA) is forming to strengthen the statewide organization’s ability to carry out its mission -- to keep current and future retirees from all parts of Georgia Government well informed about the current status of and potential changes in promised retiree pension and health insurance benefits. Current members of the Northwest Metro Chapter are primarily from Cobb, Douglas, Paulding, Fulton and DeKalb Counties. However, membership is not restricted to these counties and the chapter welcomes and is actively recruiting even more new members from these and other Northwest Metro counties.

The next meeting of the Northwest Metro Chapter of GSRA will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Central Cobb County Library at 266 Roswell Street in Marietta, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Ample, free parking is available adjacent to the library.

Take I-75 North to Marietta exit 265. Turn left at the light. At the intersection of North Marietta Parkway and Hwy 41, turn left. Go two lights to the “Big Chicken” and turn right onto Route 120 (Roswell Street.). Continue West approximately 1.4 miles. The library is across from the Marietta National Cemetery on the left hand side of the road. Turn on Alexander Street.
